⚠️ This one is HER SHORTHAND, not prose — a list of quantities and moves rather than sentences. Transcribed exactly as written; the steps read as fragments because that is what she wrote.
She writes bare "1/4" twice, for the toop and the rai, with no unit. Nick's rule for her shorthand: a bare fraction is teaspoons or tablespoons, never cups. Applied here as tsp. The method steps still show her original bare "1/4".
⚠️ The ghee is the one still worth checking. A quarter teaspoon of toop to a whole cup of rava is very little fat for a sheera — a quarter TABLESPOON, or more, would be likelier. Recorded as tsp per the rule, but ask her before trusting it.
The rai at 1/4 tsp is consistent with the rest of her tempering and needs no confirmation.
The water ratio is the one thing stated plainly: 3 cups of water to 1 cup of rava.
"cxx" appeared after the water line in the source and looks like a stray keystroke, so it is not carried over. Nothing else was dropped.
"toop" is ghee, "rai" mustard seed, "kadipatta" curry leaves, "hinga" asafoetida — all hers.
Note this is the savoury sheera. The sweet one is a separate recipe under Sheera.
